During my travel to our Asia-Pacific Region, I attended the 3rd Young BPW International Asia Pacific Symposium 2023 in Taiwan. Totally, there were over 100 young members attending from 13 Asian countries. You will get an impression of this very interesting conference with the title: “Women Leadership: Thriving In A Post-Pandemic World.” through this newsletter. The conference was opened by the Keynote of H. E. Dr. Hsiu-Lien Lu, former Vice President of Taiwan (2000-2008). She sketched the way women had struggled to better their situation in the economic, political, and social sphere in Taiwan and elsewhere. She also highlighted the actual situation of Taiwan and stressed that her country wanted independence and peace.
The main part of the conference focused on three pillars: Smart Education, Transformational Leadership in Economy, and the Cultural Connection: A new Power of Arts and Culture Industry. All three panels were of excellent quality and gave new insights into the three fields. Education will be profoundly transformed through artificial Intelligence, leadership in economy and politics, has to be sustainable to be effective in the long run and Arts and Culture will have a great impact on tourism and preservation of our heritage, but it has to be carefully restored and preserved.

Lors de mon voyage dans la région de l’Asie-Pacifique, j'ai assisté au 3rd Young BPW International Asia Pacific Symposium 2023 à Taiwan. Au total, plus de 100 jeunes membres de 13 pays asiatiques y ont participé. Le titre de cette conférence très intéressante vous donnera une idée de son contenu : "Le leadership des femmes : Thriving In A Post-Pandemic World" (Leadership féminin : prospérer dans un monde post-pandémique). La conférence a été ouverte par le discours d'ouverture de S.E. Dr. Hsiu-Lien Lu, ancienne vice-présidente de Taïwan (2000-2008). Elle a décrit la manière dont les femmes ont lutté pour améliorer leur situation dans les sphères économiques, politiques et sociales à Taïwan et ailleurs. Elle a également mis en lumière la situation actuelle de Taïwan et a souligné que son pays souhaitait l'indépendance et la paix.
La partie principale de la conférence s'est concentrée sur trois piliers : L'éducation intelligente, le leadership transformationnel dans l'économie et la connexion culturelle : Un nouveau pouvoir pour l'industrie des arts et de la culture. Les trois panneaux étaient d'excellente qualité et ont donné un nouvel aperçu de ces trois domaines. L'éducation sera profondément transformée par l'intelligence artificielle, le leadership dans l'économie et la politique doivent être durable pour être efficace à long terme et les arts et la culture auront un grand impact sur le tourisme et la préservation de notre patrimoine, mais ils doivent être soigneusement restaurés et préservés.

La conferenza è stata aperta dalla keynote di S.E. Dott. Lu, ex vicepresidente di Taiwan (2000-2008). La dottoressa ha illustrato il modo in cui le donne hanno lottato per migliorare la loro situazione nella sfera economica, politica e sociale a Taiwan e altrove. Ha anche evidenziato la situazione attuale di Taiwan e ha sottolineato che il suo Paese vuole l'indipendenza e la pace.
La parte principale della conferenza si è concentrata su tre pilastri: Educazione intelligente, Leadership trasformazionale in economia e la connessione culturale: Un nuovo potere dell'industria artistica e culturale.

Esbozó el modo en que las mujeres habían luchado por mejorar su situación en la esfera económica, política y social en Taiwán y en otros lugares. También destacó la situación actual de Taiwán y subrayó que su país deseaba la independencia y la paz.
La parte principal de la conferencia se centró en tres pilares: La Educación Inteligente, el Liderazgo Transformador en la Economía y la Conexión Cultural: un nuevo poder de la industria del arte y la cultura. Insgesamt waren über 100 junge Mitglieder aus 13 asiatischen Ländern anwesend. Sie werden einen Eindruck von dieser sehr interessanten Konferenz mit dem Titel bekommen: "Women Leadership: Thriving In A Post-Pandemic World" in diesem Newsletter. Eröffnet wurde die Konferenz durch die Keynote von S. E. Dr. Hsiu-Lien Lu, ehemalige Vizepräsidentin von Taiwan (2000-2008). Sie skizzierte, wie Frauen in Taiwan und anderswo für eine Verbesserung ihrer Situation im wirtschaftlichen, politischen und sozialen Bereich gekämpft haben. Sie wies auch auf die aktuelle Situation Taiwans hin und betonte, dass ihr Land Unabhängigkeit und Frieden wolle.
Der Hauptteil der Konferenz konzentrierte sich auf drei Säulen: Intelligente Bildung, transformationale Führung in der Wirtschaft und die kulturelle Verbindung: Eine neue Kraft der Kunst- und Kulturindustrie.
