Dr. MomLuang Preeyapun Sridhavat is a prominent figure in Thailand, serving as Vice President of BPW Thailand and UN Representative for UNESCAP. She holds degrees in Economics, Cultural
Management, and Fine & Applied Arts, along with a teaching diploma in classical ballet from the Royal Academy of Dance. As Honorary Consul General of Peru in Chiang Mai, she has promoted
trade and cultural ties between Thailand and Peru since 2002. Previously a Senator (2011-2014) and Associate Judge for the Juvenile and Family Court (1993-2011), she chairs various committees.
She founded the Chiang Mai Ballet Academy in 1987 and has received numerous awards for her contributions to women’s development, entrepreneurship, gender equality, human rights, and arts. She has
received several international awards including “Help Women Help Themselves Beyond 2000” from BPW International (Canada), the “Women of Impact Award” from the Philippines, and the Avril Binser
Achievement Award from Australia.
