Just Transitions: Intersectional Purview Accountability Advancing Human Rights as Ethical Practices in Extreme Poverty Responses
Monday, 11 March, 2024 10:30 am – 90 minutes
In-person Parallel Event - CCUN, 10th floor
What does climate, conflict of war, the need for education, migration crises, xenophobia, human trafficking and sexual exploitation have in common? They all intersect with poverty disproportionately affecting women and girls around the globe. While each sector has important findings, work and project purviews, it is intersectional understanding in collaboration that draws us together in common humanity ensuring human rights and ethical practices are part of all extreme poverty responses to empower women and girls in all their diversity.
