Nene Bah, The Gender adviser at the UN Special Envoy for the Great Lakes Region at the BPW Africa Conference at Arusha Tanzania on the 25th of August 2022.
In her speech, she notes that despite the fact that African females are one of the most dynamic females in the world , female entrepreneurship is still characterized by its high informality in the Great Lakes region.
She also goes further to state that she is convinced that addressing the constraints faced by women in a determined and concerted way and manner, we can unleash the potential of women business to become a key driver of economic growth in the region.
