Synopsis:
Having studied Economics, Politics and Social Sciences, specializing in Business Management, I worked for more than 15 years in the textile and clothing sector.
I joined the PPR group in 2000 and took over one of their companies as President and Managing Director. In charge of negotiating contracts with the group's strategic suppliers, I collaborated in the creation of an international purchasing centre and its deployment in Europe.
In 2002, I was hired by the Max Havelaar Switzerland Foundation to develop the fair cotton sector and lead the non-food sector. This involved the drafting of a specific "fair trade" standard for cotton, the introduction of cotton producer certifications and the controls of textile production chains.
Head of Switcher's Asia Office in 2006, based in India, I have coordinated production & purchasing and have implemented quality control procedures.
In 2008, I created a sourcing and management consulting office in Carouge, covering the following areas:
- Audit, consulting and training related to the implementation of a sustainable development, CSR and corruption prevention policy.
- Responsible sourcing advice ("organic" and / or equitable sectors)
- Setting up a Supply Chain traceability system (from the raw material to the finished product)
