The Africa Business Council through the Mineral Resources Development and Women Committees in collaboration with the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), and the International Federation of Business and Professional Women (BPW International) created and launched the Women in Jewellery as a platform to give space to women in Jewellery industry to feature their talents, designs, that reflects their professionalism and cultures.
The launch aims to support women and showcase and reinforce the economic and business diversity of the Jewellery Industry and support and empower the participation of SMEs, women, and youth in the global economy.
The Women in Jewellery will have the opportunity to exhibit their Jewellery in the Women Pavillion, which will be held in the biggest world expo for jewellery, during the period from 21-26 January 2022 in Vicenza, Italy. They will also have the opportunity to attend the signing event of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Africa Business Council AfBC and the Italian Exhibition Group IEG.
